Ultimate Fudgy Brownies
Ingredients
- 240 gr unsalted butter, I prefere slightly cold between 17 to 20 degree, some prefer melted or room temperature
- 30 ml vegetable oil (2 tablespoon)
- 260 gr white sugar
- 200 gr light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs at room temperature (57 g each eggs)
- 130 gr of all purpose flour
- 110 gr good quality unsweetened cocoa powder
- 200 gr chopped chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven at least 15 minutes before, preheat 180 celcius
- lightly grease your baking pan, with butter or cooking oil, then line with parchment paper, set aside
- combine butter ( I prefer a slightly cold butter), oil and sugar together in the mixer, add the egg one at the time and add vanilla, beat until lighter in color, this mix around 2-4 minutes
- shift the flour and cocoa powder and salt, gently fold to the wet mixture, make sure you don over fold, it will effect the texture of your brownies.
- then fold in 3/4 of the chocolate pieces
- pour the batter to your prepared baking pan ( with this I use a 10 cm to 30 cm length pan, but any kind of pan work just fine), smoothing the top out evenly and top with remaining chocolate pieces
- bake for about 25-35 minutes of just under done brownies or until the center of the brownies no longer jiggles, or other options is to bake a little longer around 35-40 minutes if you like your brownies set and firm
- leave your brownies at room, and set aside around 15 minutes to cool at room temperature before slicing.
