TSUKUNE YAKITORI WITH INDONESIAN SAMBAL LUAT
This is not a fusion recipe, I love Japanese yakitori and to add an extra flavor I add Indonesian Sambal Luat.
Ingredients
Sambal LUAT- 200 gr chili padi
- 30 gr shrimp paste
- 1 tsp lime juie
- 1 sdt sugar
- 3 clove of shallots
- 1 cup coriander leaves
- 1 tomato
- salt to taste
- 2 stalk of scallion
Methods
- follow the tsukune recipe
- with a mortar pound the chili padi until it become a smooth texture ( you can use a blender, i prefer the chili with texture.
- slice the sahllots, tomato, scallion and the coriander leaves and mix all together. add the lime juice and the shrimp paste, mix with the chili well
- and serve on top of tsukune.
