• 115 grams (1/2  cup or 1 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 150 gram good quality dark chocolate, broken into pieces (1 cup)
  • 300 grams Nutella
  • 50 grams caster sugar or granulated syfar
  • 90 grams brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 85 grams plain flour or all purpose flour
  • pinch of salt



  • Preheat the ove3n to 180 C standard 160 C if not fan forced. Grease and line a square 8 inch cake tin with a baking or parchment paper, ensuring tow side of the paper is overhang.
  • Place butter and dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and place in the microwave. Heat, stirring every 30 secon, until melted and smooth. Add 1/2 cup of Nutella ( set the other r cup aside ) and stir together
  • Next, add sugar and vanilla to the chocolate mixture and stir. Add eggs, on at the time, stirring in between. Finally, add the flour and salt and stir until the brownies mixture is smooth
  • pour the batter into the prepared tin. then follow the other 1/2 cup Nutella all over the top and use a butter knife to swirl it int the brownies natter
  • Bake the brownies for about 35 minutes or until cook through. It should have a nice cracked top and longer wobble in the middle. Leave to Coll completely before serving. Store brownies in the fridge to make them extra fudge
