Balinese Grilled Satay
INGREDIENTS
- 250g minced meat
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 4 grains of red onion, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 5 tbsp instant coconut milk
- 6 skewers satai
Seasonings, puree:
- 1 cm ginger
- 2 cm galangal
- 2 cm kencur
- 1/4 tsp shrimp paste
- salt and brown sugar to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix meat, onions, peppers, spices, lemon juice, and coconut milk and stir well.
- Roll round of pecan, pin dots on a skewer satai 5.
- Burn until cooked. Remove and serve.
